Mary Ann Maywalt, Captain. Every sports program depends not only on the athletes themselves but also on such necessary units as the coaching staff and the cheerleaders. Coaches face a thankless task in constant drilling and daily repetition of fundamentals. Much of the responsibility for rousing the enthusiasm and support of the spectators depends upon the cheerleaders.
