CHARLES W. MILLARD We, the staff of the 1965 Torch, dedicate this book to a man without whose devotion and guidance this book would not have been possible. Mr. Millard was not only our yearbook advisor, but a counselor to whom we could turn with other school problems. Seniors who were lucky enough to be in his English class can remember not only Wordsworth, Defoe, and Bunyon, but enlightening discussions of school activities, world problems, and our plans for the future. This was Mr. Millard's last year as yearbook advisor, a post he held for four years. With gratitude and esteem, we dedicate the Torch to him as we leave both Academy and him. 4
