E. F. A. Moves Aheac:ll The 1965 Torcb presents, Our New Look. Throughout the many year of Academy's history, several buildings have been chri tened Elmira Free Academy. We have tried to how you school life in the most recent one, with its ultramodern, complex maze of classrooms, labs, cafeterias, hops, gyms, and superb auditorium. And we have attempted to show that the old rich traditions from past schools till live in our sparkling halls and gleaming rooms. The four years we have spent in the two buildings will be the final education for some, and an intermediate plateau for other . For u , this yearbook is even more special, because it is a record not only of our senior year, but also the first year of this new building's existence. Our motto, EXEGl .i\tOMUMENTUM AERE PERENNIUS - I have built a monument more lasting than bronze, is truly applicable to our new building, and those words shall continue to inspire hundreds of future students.
