Hough– ton , T . Long , G. Maider , C. Smith , D. Fairchild, D. Smith, C. Pangburn Student Council The Student Council of 1966- 67 began the ye ar 1.,rith the traditional "get acquainted" dan.ce . Later in the year , they sponsored a "turn about time ", whe n the girls at G. C. S. gave treatment royale to their men. In the spring , the Council is planning a student carnival - an often talked of event, but never before attempted . These , ho1.,rever, are only secondary roles of the Student Council. The most important object of the year is to earn money to send a student to France in 1968. The Council has already sent two students in past years . These things plus so many other school and community services have made the Student Council very much a part of the life at Greene Centra l.
