West- This year Jack Brereton was elected President of our student government. The purposes of this organization are to aid in the internal administra– tion of the school and to develop in the students a growing appreciation of membership in a democracy. According to tradition, Student Council is responsible for a successful Homecoming and this year was no exception. Joanne Drake was crowned Homecoming Queen. Her attendants were Shaleen Masterson, Maureen Collins, Barbara Cowles and Susan Miller.
