The .A.F.S. Program is a program for peace. By uniting young citizens of foreign countries in friendship, good will is constantly being created between nations. N. H.S. is indeed proud to have again taken part in an activity as worthwhile as the .American Field Service. Hans Mueller, a student fromMannheim, West Germany, stayed at the home of the Donald H. Burr family. Participating in many activities both academic and rec– reational, Hans was certainly an asset to the Class of '63 and to N.H.S. Mei Nien Bien from Malacca, Malaya resided for the year at the Thomas E. Dixon home. Well-known for her friendly smile and wonderful humor Mei became a true friend to all of us at N. H.S. 81
