A native of Kingston, Pennsylvania, he attended Wilkes College. BeforecomingtoNorwich, Mr. Davenport taught at Sherburne, Edmeston, and Guilford. This year he directed the Color Guard, Junior High and Elementary Bands, and was assis– tant director of the N.H.S. Band. 90
