The Girls' Athletic Council is composed of repre– sentatives from each class who are interested inwomens' sports. Its function is to increase the interest in and to promote athletics for girls throughout the junior and senior high school. Guided by Miss PieWer and led by President Norma Daubert, Secretary Clarissa Huyck, and Treasurer Sandy Echentile, these girls devoted much time, hard work, B.A.C. is composed of high school boys who have shown a definite interest in sports. This interest may be shown in one of several ways. First, he may be a captain of any Varsity team, second; he may have earned two letters in one sport, and third; he may have earned two sports letters in one year. They ·sp"'"'.Sored a sale of Norwich jackets, a student-faculty basketball game, a Penny Carnival, a physical education exhibi– tion, intramural awards, and a number of play-days. As a new project, with the help of B.A.C., they initiated ..t Basketball Program. Through these activities G.A.C. accomplished its pur– poses and completed another busy year. in sports and good sportsmanship. This year, in addi– tion to sponsoring Class games and a county-wide foul shooting contest, a circus was held in the gym– nasium. This proved to be both entertaining and profit– able, and thus ended another year.
