Sen"ior Class Poem We have studied and we have toil >d for twelve long years Our ubjects we have passed in spite of teachers fears. ' But what w 've accompli hed is yet to be een In the coming future of each lad and colleen.' But one thing that we know without a doubt I each of our cla mates, whom we'll tell you about. Of course, a you know, the b ·· t known of our crowd, The ac in all spm t-, and in ludies unbowed Is little Al Gladstone who's now playing ball. ' We can't forget htm, nor ht husky "wolf call." Joyce Doig is Varga girl of our cla s. A pleasing, agreeable, not unshapely Ia s. She had many interests 'till Fred came along, Now "Freddie, Oh Freddie" is Joycie's theme song. Then there is Archie, who with the girls is a star For his jok s and his antics, he' known near and far. A whiz in all science, and a whiz with a car, Him from our cla we never would bar. Katy Yevich could be call d our "Per onality Mis " Her cute little smile just fills you with bliss Cheerleader, band player, class president, D. C. S. will be sorry when Katy has "went". The band master of our class is Jimmie or Jam s. He plays baritone, piano, and all orts of games. A good singer too, he should acquire much fame. James Champ1in may soon be an out tanding name. Phyl's what we call her, though orne call her Phid. She can write, act, and sing, and h 's far from tupid. In talk , jokes, :md fight , she can outdo all the re t, We'll all agree that Phid's one of the best. The next in order by name will be Don. He is small, 'tis true, but of him we're all fond. He favors athletic , and all brands of l>umor Don's a favonte of all and that' not just rumor! Florence next steps in the limelight. H r Personality's swell and her brain v ry bright, We never knew Flo sie well, until Senior Play And then we discovered she is plenty O.K.! Marguerite Homovich-now there is a name That in classes of Home Ec has won great fame. She can not only sing, but ·he yod l , too. Wh n Republic finds her, what will Roy Rogers do? No\ ', if you're hungry for news, go to Isabelle Brown, She can tell you all that is going around. A busy lass who will ne'er le>t you down She's a valuable ass t to any small town. The S niors thi year lack nothing, 'ti true. We even have a lad whv serv d the Red, White, and Blue Yes, a sailor lad was our Roy, call d "Prod", too. And we are all proud to pres nt him to you. We hope we've not bored you in this di cour e For we could brag on until we w re hoar e. So to nd this poem we will be very brief, And simply say, "to leave D. C. S., fill u with grief.''
