Miller, Mr. Cahill, Director. MUSIC ECHOED THROUGH THE HALLS under the direction of James Cahill. Alan Bowes presided over the band with Charles Van De Mar assisting. Jane Miller was secretary and Alan Belknap was in charge of finance. Among its numerous activities, the band boosted school spirit at football gomes and also ;})i~lance ployed at school assemblies. Its individual pro– jects were the annual spring concert and winter and spring assemblies. Alan Bowes, Jane Miller and Jim Crawford were BHS representatives to the music conference in AIbi on. Brighton porti c ipated in the annua I county spring festival at Rush-Henrietta. SENIOR AND JUNIOR ORCHESTRAS, under the direction of Austin J, Truitt and Joseph Fuher, produced sweet mus1c through– out the year. Elected officers were Pat Birrell, Harvey Ha1nes, and Lois Hershberger. Nancy Moore and Pat Birrell journeyed to Albion to take part in the all-state music festival.
