BRIGHTON OPENED ITS QUEST for the Secuon V. Class A, soccer championship by defeating Alfred-Almond by a score of 5-2. In the final game of the 1953 Sectionals, Brighton was dealt defeat at the hands of Marshall High School, 2-0. The game re– sulted in a scoreless tie at the end of the regulation time.
