May 1, 1962 TO THE CLASS OF 1963 Congratulations to the Class of 1963 for sponsoring and publishing the Hiawathan. The work done by the students and their sponsors is a gigantic task. Many hours of picture taking, writing and editing go into the preparation of the material. Financing and distribution are two of the factors which you have also handled well. Through the years of my teaching in the Liverpool Schools I have always kept my copy of the school year book. This is the last one in a series of thirty-six in which I will be participating. I shall cherish it highly. As I have planned my retirement at the end of this school year, I feel that I have a history of the schools in which I was privileged to work and a record of the young people of the community.
