The Varsity So11ball team had an outstanding season in 1984. With a good 11-7 final record. the team played brilliantly most of the year. Because of the combined ellorts ol the many players, Liverpool finished only one game behind the co-champs Oswego and Cicero-North Syracuse. Among Liverpool's many wins was their 3-0 vic– tory over then top rated and undefeated West Genesee. The 1984 MVP award went to Pat Cerio, first team division A All-County player. The 1984 MIP award went to pitcher, Cheryl Hensen, named Honorable Mention All-County. The 1984 J.V. team, under coach Dan Salisbury, finished 14-2.
