Casting Hall's fall production, God's Favorite, was per– formed in the L.H.S. auditorium in November. The Neil Simon comedy, based loosely on the book of Job, deals with a man enduring a series of devastating events in both his personal and professional lives as a test of his faith. As he and his family go through the ordeal, a messenger from God checks in on Joe periodically, accounting for much of the comedy in the play. The cast included: Bill Chasse, in the leading role as Joe Benjamin; Lou Ann Venditti, as his wife Rose: Siobhan Sweeney and Bryan Dano as the younger children: Richard Creech as the eldest and "prodigal" son David; Cynthis Hayes and Bob Zemmiello as Midie and Morn's, the everfaithful servants: and Joe Peta in the second leading role as Sidney Lipton. Mrs. Nancy Dutelle directed the production, assisted by Kori Herz and Sheila Hennigan. Stage Manager was Marisa Kozlowski and Sam Barbuto headed lights, Heidi DaRin costumes and makeup, Steve Kocher finances and Cathi lanno publicity. Sarah, Ben and Joe comfort Rose.
