Swimmers Have SPiashina Season The 1984-1985 Swimming team began the year in transition. With new coach Frank Woodward, the changes occurred quickly. The team reestablished its dominance of the OHSL and Section II by winning the league cham– pionship with a 9-0 record and sectional vic– tories over Nottingham and New Hartford. Led by team captains Jim Halstead, Ed Lewan– dowski, Mike Messina, and Rob Petragnani, the team finished with an overall record of 12-1 with the only loss to state champion Fairport. Although the team will be losing six super seniors, the optimism remains high that the swimming team will continue its success into next season because "Ya gotta believe we can ... again."
