Lewis. Key Club and Keyettes, sponsored by Ki– wanis, are the two service organizations at Central. While their main function is to serve the school and community, they also find time for various social functions. To raise money this year, Key Club sold blotters and held car washes. The Keyettes, through bake sales and candy sales, raised money for AFS and migrant workers . At Christmas time, both clubs worked together on a party for the kindergarten class of Danforth Elementary School. Eighty children received presents and enjoyed ice cream and cookies. Also during the holiday season, members of Honor Society, Key Club, and Keyettes joined together for a Christmas party at Erwin Methodist Church. Mary Sue Frazier, president of Keyettes, serves refreshments at the joint Christmas party.
