Tradition Candlelight Carols, long a tradition at Central, was again presented at the Christ– mas Assembly. The choirs performed under the direction of Mr. Fred Miner, formerly a teacher at Roosevelt Junior High. Among the selections were "Lo, How a Rose," "Do You Hear What I Hear," and the processional "Adestes Fidelis". In addition to the musical selections by the three regular choirs, a new feature of the program this year was the appearance of the Juandelles, an A Cappella quartet. Usually a rhythm and blues group, they sang "Beauti– ful Saviour", a religious hymn. Lorraine Buczek leads the Candlelight Carols pro– cession. 171
