Syracuse Central Technical High School 1961 Yearbook (Syracuse, NY) - Guest Access

Mr. George Berry One of the mosc deeply appreciated and respccced persons in Central Tech is our own Mr. Berry .... and with good cause. For Mr. Berry has given many years of Joyal service co our school, first as a teacher of English and math and now as our capable vice- principal. Despite his never-ending work, as evidenced by a desk always piled high with papers, Mr. Berry seems to find time to counsel, direct, assist and console when neces ary, students and faculty alike. His school spirit knows no bounds. Whether he is directing a Grand March at the Senior Ball, D E D I c A T I pra1smg deserving students, or offering a few spirited words in pep fests, his enthusiasm never wanes. A ready wit- a hearty laugh- a raccoon coat and an ubiquitous lunch pail- these are some things we will remember about Mr. Berry in years co come. But most of all we shall remember the pride he took in us, in our school and in our teachers. And so for these reasons and many more, we dedicate the 1961 edition of the Scarlet co Mr. George Berry. 0 N
