Karen Wibon and JoAnn Lambros spent two months in Peru as <.'\.Change ...tudent... during the summer of 1966. nder the ampices of the Student Council, funds were solicited during the annual Tag Day, augmenting dub donations in the Foreign Exchange Fund. The Council held a tea in December honoring local ex– change student.... llighlighting the winter holida~ season, ~ l istletoe \lagic reconstru<:ted the atmosphere of a long-ago Chri..,tmas. En·rgreen trees , pine boughs, mi..,tlt>toe, and an old-fa... hioned sleigh created the mood. For the fip,t time, the Council spomored the adop– tion of~\ Soutlwa... t A..,i;~n orphan. tudents contributed to prO\ 1d<.• for her welfare lor a one-year period. As in previous ~cars, the Council operated a con– ce.,sion stand at most home athletic events.
