Varsity Volleyball "That's a Hindu", cries Mr. Walsh, as the volley– ball hits the ceiling. In English that means a re– play. The Girls Varsity Volleyball team had a good time this year, under rookie coach John Walsh. Although the overall team record this year wasn't very impressive, the girls learned new tech– niques. Captains Jeanne WeMett, Laura Bachtig, and Wendy Huyghue helped to boost the girls' spirits along. This year three girls received honors, Jeanne WeMett making All-League, and Wendy Huy– ghue and Laura Bachtig receiving honorable mention. All-Putnam County was an honor be– stowed on all three.
