Math Team, Debate Team The Debate team this year with the addition of quite a few new members, has upheld its spectacular record of last year. At the award ceremony held October 13, at lakeland High School, Mahopac took second place in the Westchester Debate league. On October 25, President Kevin Bergin placed 3rd in extem– poraneous speaking among strong competi– tion. last spring, the debate team became a charter member of the National Forensic league, an honor obtained only through hard work and long hours of preparation. The club wishes to thank their coach, Mrs. White, for the long hours she spent for and with them. Once again, the Math Team is proud to have Mr. Adrian as its advisor. The team worked hard during the six meets against 28 schools, to qualify for the Coastal league of which Mr. Adrian is vice-president and creator. 141
