CLASS MOTTO "An Idle mind is the Devils Workshop" CLASS POEM As we leave the halls of Gilboa High with memories and thought so dear, We think of all the happy days which we've had throughout the years. And as we start our journey down life's too short highway, We realize what we have learned will give us help along the way And the joy that we have had here will always linger in our hearts. --Donald Brainerd '53 CLASS COLORS The class colors of Orange and Black were chosen after many debates. These colors were chosen because of their originality and also because of the fact that they go well together. --Sidney Vining '53 CLASS FLOWER The class of '53 selected as its flower the Red Rose. Down through the years the rose has come to be known as a symbol of royalty and beauty. --Sidney Vining '53 SENIOR PLAY As this is being written the Senior class is starting rehearsals on the Senior Play. The play is a three act comedy entitled "The Little Dog Laughed. " The play will be presented in the near future and much success is being anticipated.
