Pedersen, L. Selzo , B. Hilton, R. Neslund. The newest addition to the K.H.S. sports schedule and the most improved as the season progressed was the swimming team. Coached by Mr. Mahood and led by seniors John Sullivan, Gary Ballou, John America, AI Pedersen, John Quick, Gary Johnson, and Rich Klomps, the team, by the end of the season, finished a strong sixth out of twelve schools in the Section 9 meet. W~th the enthusiasm and ability of underclassmen Doug Jacobson, Pete Lewis, and Charles Plunket, the spirit that was present with the founding of the team and which pervaded its first year will un– doubtedly be present again next year.
