Early in the year the club members worked on the perfection of individual scenes from well-known plays as practice for the presentation of a one-act play before the student body. The officers are: president, Susan Rice; vice-president, Christine Hartel; treasurer, John Veyette; secretary, Leslie Weirman; GO representative, Skidmore Smith. International Relations Club The International Relations Club stimulates interest in current problems which involve the United States with other nations. The club was started two years ago when Yorktown was host to its first foreign student through the American Field Service. During the meetings, discussions are held concern– ing the position taken by our country in various world– wide matters. Members are given the opportunity to voice their views even if they do not agree with plan– ned solutions.
