EASTMOOR ASSEMBLIES Mr. Richard Anderson, assistant to the president of Battelle Memorial Institute, spoke November 6 to students of Eastmoor High. His talk "Your Career and You," was a kick·off assembly for the up-com– ing meetings on guidance and careers. Principal T . H. Mayer addressing the Football Banquet. Eastmoor students were some of the first to see a model of the U. S. satellite, the "Explorer." The model, en route to the Columbus Auto Show, was shown February 13 to the student body in an unscheduled assembly. The signifi– cance of the Explorer's launching was explained by Mr. John Young, who was traveling with the model.
