THANK YOU ... If the 1962 EAGLE is a success, it will be such because: BRO. JOHN JANSEN, SM, who, in his short term as Principal, got the yearbook off the ground through his interest and encouragement. MR. RICHARD KENARD and MR. MATT McCORMICK, who, as salesmen for the Taylor Yearbook Co., helped the staff in every way possible with their unselfish efforh. MR. FRED KOGER, who, as office man far away in Texas, still helped by his short notes of encouragement. DODD, MEAD & COMPANY, who, as publishers of the book The Col– lected Poems of Robert Service, allowed the staff to make partial use of this publishing. BRO. THOMAS BRENNAN, SM, who, as Treasurer of the school, patient– ly waited for the money to come in, only to see the staff take it back out. BRO. MICHAEL COOK, SM, who, as moderator of the Photography Club, did an excellent job on all photography except the senior portraits. MR. DON TUCKER, who, as professional photographer, did such a splen– did job on the senior portraits. JAMES SERVAITES, who, as senior art student, did an outstanding job on all the art work in the book. THE WHOLE SENIOR CLASS, who, as vibrant youth-327 strong-emulsi– fied the city of Dayton with their over-the-top spirit in the ad drive and the subscription drive. BRO. LAWRENCE McGERVEY, SM, who, as Principal of Chaminade High School, viewed the progress of the book quietly from afar, but stepped in and helped with much needed encouragement during dead– line troubles. TAYLOR PUBLISHING COMPANY OF DALLAS, TEXAS, who, as pub– lisher of thousands of school yearbooks, put up with our late dead– lines and payments, and printed the entire book. BUT MOST ESPECIALLY, to Bro. Thompson and the rest of the staff who so generously gave of their time and talents hoping to make this book a success.
