principal Dear Graduates: I'm sure you will not allow it to be said that your school is a treasure house of knowledge. This would be bad. It would ;eem to imply that Chaminade is a school to which the entering freshmen bring so much and from which the depart;ng graduates take so little. You've certainly acquired a good schooling during your years at Cham– inade if you were in the least bit receptive. Something of Chaminade has surely rubbed off on you. It will be with you forever. Use it! Capitalize on it! It gives meaning, purpose, direction to your 1·fe. As you read this your days at Chaminade are but memories. Your high school education is over. Remember this, though! You are not at the end You are not even at the beginning of the end. Actually, you are now only at the end of the beginninq of what each member of your faculty hopes and prays will be a wonderful, happy life for you in this world, leading to Heaven in the next.
