OUR VARSITY BASKETBALL TEAM, and its corol!ar·v Coach \ \'aync :\ shbaugh \\·as an oubtancling football and basketball player during his high school days at Louisville High School. After high school graduation, he contilluecl in atl.letics as a crack quartnback for ~Vft. L nion's Purple l~aiders. H c gradu~ted from :\lt. Cnion in ]f):Fi. l~asketball is usually thought of in terms of five boys, but this was a stumbling block in our win column this year. Because of insufficient reserve strength we would go behind when the regulars fouled out. To back this we look to the scores and see \Ve lost a total of four games by more than ten points. This isn't bad con siclering a disappointing season of thirteen losses. OPPONE.\JTS Bamesvillc ... :-It. \·emon Dover Cambridge ... . Coshocton .. ..... . . LJhrichsville .... . . .
