OUR SOPHOMORES the little unassumvng plane figures-/lOt yet grO'ZC'll into squares. Barbara Roc, Eleanor Philip, Carol Collins, Jan– ice Householder arc seen admiring the Indian cos– tumes used in the Sesqui– centennial Pageant. OUR SOPI-IO~[ORES, that unknmm quantity at our Lash High School! Indeed, quite a quantity- to be exact, -}0-i of them this year. \Ve would like to give all credit clue Our Sophomores for their excellent participation in the T947 Sesquicen– tennial celebration. It is our belief that they hac! greater representation in the Sesqui activities than any of our other classes at Lash. The follO\Ying illustrate the uni<]ucness of this ycar·s Sophomore class: more Sophomores \\·ere on the Varsity football team than in any pre,·ious year; they are the first Sophomore class to have ,,·orking represcntatiYes on the Comus selling staff: and they arc the first Sopho– mores to handle their O\\·n Comus pictures. \Vc are sure that the Sophomore class is proud of Charles :\Iallet, who won an honorary prize in the National \\'ildlife Consen·ation Poster Contest, and Elaine l\f cCurdy , who ,,·as elected as a member of a state,,·icle Steering Committee for Y-Tcens.
