After a slow ,;ta rt , our iootball team finally got its breath and ,,·as the Central Ohio League champion for the first time since 19-J.O. They had a reco rd of six wins, two losses. and one tie. The highlight of the season was our 7 to 6 Yic– tory over the Coshocton Redskins. This victory ga \'e us the League championship. Our basketball team had just the opposite luck, and fin– ished the season in the cellar with an 8 to 13 record. The best game of the year was the game with Coshocton at the district tournament. \ \ 'e lost ( by only 2 points) in a double overtime period. From what we have seen on the baseball diamond it looks as if Coach Don Stahl \vill start baseball off with a bang this year. This is our first year in competitive baseball and it looks as if we shall have a very successful season. Since we have baseball and spring football, track is not very popular.
