MR. JOHN STEINHAUER Assistant Superintendent Steinhauer re– ceived his B.S. from Miami University and his M.A. from Ohio State. Mr. Steinhauer is the one in charge of all propertie of the school from books to paper clips. He has charge of all non-teaching em· ployee and is the man in charge of such thing as heat and light. You might remember seeing him in one of your classrooms with a light meter or checking the temperature. He also is re ponsible for all buildings and addi· lions to be built; with this i included the adverti ing for bids and the specifications for the building. DR. RUTH CLAYTON Dr. Ruth B. Clayton, Co-ordinator of Pupil Personnel, is supervisor of all pecial services in the Cuyahoga Falls School System, includ· ing an overall testing program, school psy– chologi ts, nur e and health programs, speech therapists attendance, visiting teacher, guid– ance in both the junior high and the high school, all special education including slow, gifted, and physically handicapped and a research program. MR. WARD SECRIST Mr. Secrist, Co-ordinator of Curriculum, received his B.S. from Kent State University and his M.E. from Pittsburgh University. As co-ordinator of curriculum, he is the man re ponsible for the courses of study in the schools; this means not only new text– books but what parts should be skipped and what additional parts taken. He must also see that there is vertical and horizontal uniform– ity. That is, see that the work becomes pro– gres ively harder and all pupils in the same grade at different schools learn the same things. 8
