SCRIBE STAFF For the second year a staff of interested English stu- dents published the Howland literary magazine, the Scribe. The English teachers are asked to submit the best work of their students, and the editors select the very best work from each grade. Although this project, under the supervision of Mr. Williams, is relatively new, the students and teachers have become very conscious of the thrill of having their work printed. Illustrations and other art- work for this fine magozine are created by student artists. Mart ie Ve lican industriously proofreads some of the art ic les for this year's Scribe.
