ADMINISTRATORS AND SECRETARIES MR. N. D. KEPNER, PRINCIPAL Our school principal is the man who provides the link which is necessary to join harmoniously the stu- dents, parents, and teachers of Howland High School. Mr. Kepner, a highly educated man, has filled this position since 1953. He began his educational .career in Pennsylvania where he attended Grove City College for two years. He received his B.S. from Ohio University and has done work at the University of Pittsburgh to earn an M.S. degree. The Class of 1961 is glad for the privilege of re- ceiving their education under the capable leader- ship of Mr. Norman D. Kepner. OFFICE SECRETARIES MRS. HUMASON, CLERK-TREASURER Education is big business, especially in the Board of Education office. For this reason, Howland em- ploys a full time Clerk-Treasurer. The distinguished lady who handles the accounting for the four pres- ent buildings and the two new buildings, is Mrs. Claire Humason. She attended South High School and Youngstown College and worked in industry before moving to Warren and coming to our Howland District seven- teen years ago.
