ARE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE AUTUMN Shirley Ste in, Sondra Rose , Lorry Sindledecker, ond lee Se lby sing the c losing chorus to "She's One of the Boys." Strong support by the entire Howland A Cappella helped make the operetta the success that it was. "SHE'S ONE OF THE BOYS" Our A Cappella is to be commended on their fine presentation of ··she's One of the Boys," a two act operetta. There was laughing from beginning to the end as Cora Kane (played by Shirley Stein) gave a house party which ended abruptly when some jewelry was discovered stolen. Toward the end, it was discovered that Aunt Henrietta, Cora's house guest, was none other than Henry Curtis (Lee Selby), who was in pursuit of the thief, Grander Meade, (Paul McMahon) a young society man and re- jected lover of Cora. The five men and seven women who comprised the cast, along with the chorus, entertained us throughout the evening. The six ·principals, Dione Schryver, Shirley Stein, Sondra Rose, Lee Se lby, Tom Brdek, ond Lorry Sindledecker, harmonize on one of the mony songs of the operetta. ~ I. 29
