TO STUDY THEIR CHOSEN VOCATIONS FUTURE NURSES The childhood dream of many girls is to be a nurse. Our Future Nurses of Amer- ica Club strives to make this dream ma- terialize for many of the girls of Howland by increasing their knowledge and by giving grants to those who are needy and worthy. The club began its year by holding a formal installation of its officers and new members. Next was their project of contributing .food and gifts to a needy family. This was fol- lowed by a dinner at King's Table after the first of the year, and a trip to a medical institution to increase their knowledge of nursing . They wound up the year by spon- soring a dance. This yeor the club enjoyed o very octive yeor under the fine leodership of vice president, Joleon Schnee; secretory, Lynn Kirkwood; treosurer, Peggy Minord; president, Mortie Velicon; ond sponsor, Mrs. Sherick.
