WRESTLING TEAM This year Howland found itself with one of the best wrestling teams it has ever had. Senior captain Larry Proper and Senior co·captain Tom Metzler led the boys to a very fine record. The most promising figures this year were Larry Proper, Tom Metzler, and John Datesh, who among them accounted for many of Howland 's points. In the district tournament at Kent, Larry Proper, weighing 154 pounds, won first place and a trip to Columbus to compete with the best wrestlers In the state. In district competition Tom Metzler and John Datesh both received fourth places to f inish a fine season for both boys.
