FIFTEEN SENIORS, EIGHT JUNIORS NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY The Howlond Chapter of the Notional Honor Society hos hod o busy ond successful yeor. The members have helped the Student Senate OK our school code ond pre- sent assemblies. On Februory 9, 1961, tapping ceremonies were held in the Honson Gym. Fifteen new senior members ond eight juniors were inducted into the local chapter ofter heoring Dr. Wanamaker, Superintendent of the Youngs- town Schools, speak. They were selected by the faculty on leodership, scholorship, chorocter, and service. The Notionol Honor Society hos been led this year by Presi- dent Jim Artherholt, Vice President Ed Jones, Secretary- Treosurer Mortha Shafer, ond Faculty Advisor Mrs. Rieser. These three students olso held offices in the Trumbull Chopter of the National Honor Society: Jim, second vice president; Ed, initiotory teom; and Mortho, pionist. Dr. Wonomoker, Superintendent of Youngstown Schools, de livered on interesting messoge ot the topping ossembly.
