JUNIOR LEADERS. LEFT TO RIGHT: Kenneth Gibbons, Vice-President; Gary Wagner, Sergeant-at-Arms; Cora Lynn Collison, Treasurer; Mr. Middleton, Advisor; Ann Jennie, Secretary; and Dick Smith, President. CLASS of '57 In bidding the Seniors their traditional farewell, the Junior class worked hard to make the prom and banquet a memorable night. They enjoyed raising money for the occasion by sponsoring a chili supper, and concessions after ball games. Junior Class Officers. Ken Gibbons, Ann Jennie, Cora Lynn Collison, Gary Wagner and Presi– dent, Dick Smith did a fine job in making the past year a very enjoyable one. The Juniors were a part of almost every club and activity through the year. Helen Taylor, our student body treasurer should be commented on the fine job she did. Carnival candidates from the class of "57" were Kay Myer and Bill Starnes. The Juniors did very well in their booths this year. Wayne Kenneday reigned as Heart Hop King of the Valentine Dance. How well we all know the big part the junior boys played in sports. On the varsity football team, Dick Smith, Wayne Kennedy, Lanny Crow, Gary Wagner, Allen Smith and Bert Baker all did a wonderful job. Dick Smith, Gary Wagner, Wayne Persons, Eddie Farmer, Wayne Kenneday and Allen Smith represented the junior class on the basketball team. With the close of the junior year comes the hope that the next school year, their final year will be as enjoyable. 16
