y E L L E L A s 0 N G D E R s L E A D E R s Vida Mae Polley, Linda Baker, and Sally Hook. These six girls have done a remarkable job toward the spirit of Glide's pep. They were elected at the close of the school year in 1955, and served the term of 1956. Sharen Cox, a junior, served as yell-leader until the middle of the year, when she transferred to Tillamook. The girls looked very smart in their new blue and white uniforms, and spent many long hours after school making their yells smooth and eye -catching. The "Loyalty Song" and "Louder" played especially big parts in the school's cheer section. Judy Suhrstedt, Karen Hill, and Frances Jemeyson.
