BASEBALL-54-55 CAPTAIN DUKE BEVANS RECEIVING TROPHY Glide had a successful baseball team last year climaxed by taking 2nd in the state playoffs at Echo. Glide had a record for the year of 8 wins and 1 loss. Along with Dick Smith's pitching, Gene Polley's batting, and Bert Baker's infielding, Mr. Forsythe, the coach, did a fine job of coaching the team, and we are sure they will do as good this year.
