Talented Alice Holliday depicts a colorlul cornucopia. II looks so realistic that one is tempted to sample its contents: December marked the beginning of a successful social whirl. Making headway for their joint Christmas party and semi– formal, busy Tri-Hi-Y and Hi-Y members took the lead. At the "Sno Flake Fantasy," couples literally floated to the dreamy music of the Ambassadors. Active mothers sponsored a party for all the band mem– bers on December 15. In spite of the cold weather outside, students at Redstone glowed. Basketball season got off to a roaring start. With each stirring victory, the morale of scholars and athlet-es heightened. With the new year, seniors realized this was their final fun-filled semester at Red– stone. "May I have one of yours" was the familiar request when seniors began distributing name cards. Students at Redstone saddened at the mentioning of January 24 and 25. Skim– ming, reviewing and cramming meant mid-term tests were near. To everyone's surprise, the weather zeroed testing days - three days of reprieve! Juniors received long-awaited rings; their upperclassmen days were now be– ginning. Skating parties sponsored by the Latin Club accounted for all the nicks, bumps and bruises students displayed after each outing on the ice. When melting snows gave way to opening blossoms, seniors tingled with anticipation. Ia this what shop boys do while the qirla slave In home economic classes?
