September 19 H. H . S. 13 Allentown Central 7 A pirited Allentown team went down to defeat at the hand of the H. H . . powerhou e. Plunging "Big Nick" again was the deciding factor a h rna hed over for two touchdown , one of which wa et up by John Maylath, who recovered an Allentown fumble. Hazleton' line, led by Dudeck, hulock, and Dura, who looked good on end-around play , tymied the opponent' at– tack. An aerial offen ive et up Allentown' lone ix pointer. September 27 H. H. S. 20 Williamsport 21 Hazleton' gallant 1ountaineer lo t a heartbr aker to a not-to-be-denied William port team. Hazleton, playing their be t game to date, uncorked an aerial attack for two cores, once Krobock to Dura and then kitko to "Little Nick" . "Big • Tick" led the drive for the other tally. Pai ley looked great on end weep . Our line, paced by Dude k, abia, and Maylath, played uperb ball. kitko lime and again mowed down enemy ball carrier . With two minute to go, \ illiam port cracked our line for an extra point, which proved to be the margin of victory. October 3 H. H. S. 26 William Penn 0 Too much Dura wa the tory of H. H. .' win . Danny, along with coring once, et up two for " ig Nick", who al o campered twenty- even yard for the final core. Pai ley played a nice game in the backfield. Maylath and hu– lock excelled on the forward wall, with taunch upport from Krobock and kit– ko, the latter doing orne beautiful punting for the victor . October 10 H. H . S. 13 Berwick 6 In the mo t inter ting game to date Hazleton, led by "Big 1 ick", who was helped con iderably by Danny Pai ley, defeated Berwick. Hazleton' great line fought off the determined ulldog back . Dudeck and Bove tarred on the forward wall. Krobock, playing the afety po ition, thrilled the fans time after time with b autifullast-ditch tackl . October 18 H. H. S. 13 Shamokin 0 The rugged H.
