The Rev. William L. Donovan Superintendent of Diocesan Schools The Rev. William L. Donovan, Superintendent of Diocesan Schools, plays an important role in the lives of the boys and girls of the Scranton Diocese. His tremendous interest in Catholic education shows his dedicated spirit to this worthy cause. Devoted to his prie tly vocation and to the education of Catholic youth, our superintendent performs a daily round of duties which seems unbelievable. He is familiar with excellent teaching procedures. He has the opportunity to take any aspect of the Church's teaching and reduce it to terms comprehensible to an adolescent mind. He has seen master teachers in action. He has a sensitivity to the present age. He is adroit. He gives his teachers both the administrative support and opportunity to make their endeavors worth their effort. We at Marymount are grateful for Father Donovan's dynamic leadership.
