Today ... We Begin Our Tomorrows ... We have arrived, at long la t, at the beginning of our tomorrows. Before we cast our eyes ahead, we look back to ee how far we have come. For years, in our studies at Marymount, we have been learning the details of the engrossing story of the love of God for all mankind. We found proof of His love in each class through the years. As freshmen we concentrated on deed of love. We began to equip ourselves with wondrou gifts of knowledge, friend hip, and charity. As sophomores we were permitted to delve more deeply into the life and pirit of Marymount. We gained many an opportunity to prove our elve capable and trustworthy. And we took every advantage an6 means to insure our elves future happiness. As junior the mysteriou workings of the Holy Spirit began to unfold before our eyes. We came to realize how the grace of God flows into human lives. As life and tudies became more complex, we slowly emerged from the stage of juvenile to the state of young adulthood. Today, as seniors we begin our tomorrows--we look ahead to life. We look ahead and see what is in store for those who begin well- for tho e who begin their tomorrow with God, in God and for God. We stand as it were on a mountaintop and look into the mi ty distances of the future. We mu t begin to choose the future, for which we are best equipped. With souls filled with courage and confidence we look up to her, who is our Life, our Sweetnes , and our Hope-Mary, The Mother of God and our Mother. Mary under whose protection Marymountians grow in wisdom, age and grace.
