"Bucky" Mazur Dave Barnes "Skip" Sheridan The " ams" brought the season to a close in the econ a nual Turkey Day clash with Exeter by winning, 62- ernie Wierbowski scored three times, and Tommy v.-~r:o n ... ~ tallied three times, including two kickoff returns, n of 92 yards and the other a record-breaking 100-yard n. Many of the players from the line and back-field were honored by being named to various All-Star and All– Scholastic teams in the Valley. Bernie Wierbowski achieved special recognition by winning honorable men– tion on the All-American High School football team. The team was feted at a community program, where the boys received jackets, and at a banquet and program; where the seniors received sweaters. With a few veterans and many fine prospects from the Jayvees, we look fora successful season next year.
