As a token or respect , the Class of Nineteen Hundred Sixty of Susquehanna Consol –
idated High School dedicates its yearbook to Mr . Paul D. Martin , faculty member and
teacher of Vocational Agriculture .
Sir Francis Bacon Vv"rote "God Almighty first planted a garden" and Mr . Martin teaches
those of us who are interested in agriculture that we, too, may realize the rewards of a
successful tiller of the soil.
Although the subject field limits the number of pupils with whom Mr. Martin comes
mto contact , we can say of
him,
the words of Carlyle "Everywhere in life , the true ques–
tion is not what we gain, but what we do . "
