What better sport could initiate the beginning of school than football with its dazzling excitement and spectacular plays ? The '63- '64 football season fulfilled our spirits and left us with a feeling of pride for our team. This spirit electrified our Red Devils and filled them with loyalty and sportsmanship that no spectator could deny. What it is is a seven-man sled! Some players, however, prefer to call it an instrument of torture--particularly when Mr. Rob– inson rides breezily along shouting instructions, yelling direc– tions, and rewarding the pushers with a jolly smile of encour– agement. In spite of the heaving and shoving and endless effort, each player realizes this sled offers a superb opportunity to build Red Devil muscles and increase football skill. And muscles and skill and the wit to win spell victory!
