Vreat lolls' Prep All American Wilson played in the Charlotte Shrine Bow 1 and contributed much toward the South Caro– lina victory. A favorite spot for most foot– ball players is Coach Stew– art's lab. .Wilson Childers, 240 pound tackle of the Great Falls Red Devils, was named to the 16th annual Prep All American Football Squad as selected by Coach and Athlete Magazine. The selection of the 70 man squad was made with the assistance of over 2, 000 high school coaches, plus sportswriters, and college recruiters in every section of the nation. Wilson was one of the t \-.ro South Carolina piayers to be selected. Wilsonhas lettered four years with the Great Falls Red Devils. This year he was also se– lected as a 11 - confer– ence tackle in the Cat– awba Conference. In addition to heavy duties as a Red Devil tackle, Wilson has maintained good grades, has written sports articles for the Red Devil, and has served as president of the Student Council.
