Distributive education classes prove their value as students obtain part-time jobs with local merchants. Many contests in salesmanship and job interviewing are held throughout the year to give members valuable ex– perience before they actually enter the business world. President Cecil Crosby receives a three-star plaque for an outstanding club from Mr. Richard Jones, assistant manager of Belk's Dep't. Store, at the installation of D.E. club members.
