12 Frank Pollard works diligently on the WHS news- paper, the Purple and Gold. The journalism classes of WHS publish this newspaper monthly. Mr. Miles Smart helps Maynard Bevers and Gary Guenther set up an experiment in the physics lab. A completely new physics course offers a challenge to WHS students this year. Class Activities Vary at WHS Art students, Dorothy Hindman and Kathy Carr prepare to paint the street for Ki-Yi Day. The art classes annually contribute their talent to the success of homecoming. Although Mr. Robert VanZant, English IV instruc- tor, appears to be housecleaning, he isn't the tidy man he seems. He is looking for his coffee pot!
